Founder & Clinical Director – Erica Hebert, Ph.D., BCBA-D, LBA
Erica Hebert’s path into the field of Applied Behavior Analysis began not in a classroom, but at home; when her son began displaying characteristics of autism. What started as a way to better support her own child quickly grew into a deep professional calling. Erica entered the field as a Registered Behavior Technician and discovered a passion for behavior science that led her to pursue advanced training, earning her Master’s degree from Ball State University and continuing on to The Chicago School for her Ph.D.
Throughout her academic and clinical journey, Erica developed a strong focus on caregiver collaboration and meaningful, family-centered care. Her doctoral research centered on creating a caregiver guide to ABA service delivery, reflecting her belief that lasting progress happens when families are empowered, informed, and actively involved in the therapeutic process.Outside of the clinic, Erica proudly embraces life as a military spouse, a mom of two, and the human to two very naughty dogs. When she’s not working, you’ll most likely find her cheering on her daughter as she “slays” on the ice at figure skating.
Peak Behavior was created with caregivers at the heart of its mission. Through an in-home service model and close BCBA-caregiver collaboration, Peak Behavior is designed to create an environment where children — and families — can reach their full potential and experience truly “peak” learning.
